Evening story...

Li'l tired n dull face,
As usual I was back from office.

Threw my shirts n pants apart,
Quickly setting winter evenings so dark.

Crystals from showers touched my body,
Mirror closed its eyes excusing it to be foggy.

Five past six I wiped it all out,
Enjoying hot coffee quietly in my couch.

Not very soon soap starts bubbling in TV,
Left me thinkin' was it really meant for me.

Confused I switched on to a movie,
Only to discover honey from the same bee.

Not before in the silence of midnight,
I opened my eyes to switch off the light.

"Unhappy" baarish...

Aasman se hone lagi barish aise,
laga tha aayi bujhane pyaas meri,
par jaisa socha woh thi na waise.

Dhere dhere girne lagi boondhen sar par,
Ek anokha sa ehsaas raha kuch pal,
bann gaya andar hi andar ek darr.

Chaya charon aur kuch aisa andhera,
Gum ho gayi bijli,
Laga shayad ho na fir kabhi koi sawera.

Jugnu to dekha tha maine,
Par tha yeh kuch aurr,
lage thi aasmaan se zor-zor ki awaaz aane.

Bahaut der chalta raha wahi,
Bus ab ruk jao,
Samast Jan jiwan ki pukaar thi yahi.

Ruka na pani,
Shayad tha naraaz humse,
karta raha apni man-mani.

Beh gaya kuch aise sab,
Prakriti ke saath kiya jo humne,
kar payega fir koi na ab.

Dreams were lying...

Dreams were lying...


I was awake with my ears open,
Something was wrong but never bothered to listen.

A drive away was my office I want to be,
Such a foggy morning before a lot more I could see.

All the day so many things I did,
No time to sleep so just slammed my eyelids.

A lonely sip of tea in a distant balcony,
again n again until cup told I was empty!

Walked so slow it took hours to reach home,
Only to realise my keys were in a car I left all alone.

Kicked a can and saw myself flying,
Opened my eyes to discover my dreams were lying!
